Break and Lunch-time

Children are should only bring a healthy snack for break time such as a piece of fruit, carrot or cherry tomatoes. The school provides a free healthy snack each day for all children in EYFS and KS1.

Children may bring a packed lunch to school or may have a hot dinner from a choice of dishes. School dinners must be paid for in advance on Mondays.

You can find out more about the school meal service from the Lunchtime Co . On this site you will find information on current menus, nutritional content, local sourcing information and advice on special diets.

Money should be paid online through your ParentMail account.  Any parent who thinks that their child may be entitled to free meals should ask at the school office for an application form and to discuss in confidence.

School Closures

Any decision to close school due to weather conditions is taken only after consideration of the safety of pupils and staff both on the school site and in travelling to and from school. Should winter weather mean that school has no option but to close we will update the school answering machine and send a ParentMail message as early as possible and also put a notice on the entrance and inform local radio stations (BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, Heart FM).
