St Laurence Catholic Primary School

St Laurence
Catholic Primary School

Admissions

St. Laurence is a happy school. To apply for a school place, in any year group, we ask parents to complete both of the following :

  1. Cambridgeshire County Council’s primary school application (online or returned to the local authority)

All parents are advised to read the guidance published by Cambridgeshire County Council which provides parents with all the information they need to know about the admissions process and about Cambridgeshire maintained schools. All information about how to apply for a school place is available from the Cambridgeshire County Council website

  2.  Supplementary Information Form (returned to the school office) must be completed.

  3. Full details of our school admission criteria can be found in our Admissions Policy. We have open sessions, in the Autumn term, for parents to drop in and see our Reception classes during the school day. For all other year groups please contact the school office, and we will be delighted to take you on a tour of the school.

  4. It should be noted that in the oversubscription criteria, 7 (i), 'this excludes the specialist unit' and in the notes section, 8, 'In the event of a tie-break between applicants with a sibling at the school, priority will be given where there is the smallest age gap in calendar days between the applicant’s date of birth and the date of birth of the youngest sibling at the school.'
